Application

The matter is a fundamental raw material for organic chemicals that is mainly used for manufacturing of vitamin E, dyestuff, synthetic resin, hydrogen peroxide, trimellitic anhydride, watersoluble alkyd, unsaturated polyester resin, plasticizer, epoxy hardener,as well as surface active agent.

Method for Making

It can be abstracted from C9-C10 arene that is produced by the process of catalytic reforming and naphtha cracking. The content of metamesitylene in reformed arene exceeds 40% or above. By dint of rectifying method, the product with the purity up to 99% can be produced.

Toxicity and Safety

The product is toxic and may irritate mucous membrane and central nervous system. Don't contact.

Package, Storage and Transportation

As a flammable and explosive substance, it should be stored in qualified oilcan, tanker or iron bucket at a proper volume and the full storage is forbidden. While transporting, pyrotechnics is forbidden according to related safety and fireproof regulations, meanwhile, the complete fire fighting equipment should be equipped with.
